OOTD: Green Pants and a Tiger

Been ages since I've done an OOTD, so here's one quick.

Garment Collection - Do it!

Yesterday I sorted my closet. It is always fun to do cause you tend to find stuff you'd forgotten you even had.

I finally decided to do something about it because H&M in Denmark have started their garment collection. I know they have been doing it in Sweden for some time and I think it's a great idea. Normally when you hand in a bag of old clothes to a danish thrift shop they will throw it away if they don't think it's wearable. If you hand it in a an H&M shop the textiles will also be reused if you can't resell it. In this way you can spare the environment as much as possible.

There's a little double standard though, cause H&M will award you with a 15% certificate when you hand in a bag - to buy more clothes and pollute more! But then again, at least you now have a place to hand it in where you know it will come to good use.

Chains, chains, chains

Right now chains are everywhere! All the cheaper brands are copying the more expensive ones and you can't get around the chain necklace anymore. At first I wasn't sure how I felt about it. It somehow reminded me of those chains you used to wear on your pants in the 90s. There is also a ghetto feel to it, that doesn't really get along with my aesthetic. They've grown on me though.

So far I've bought these two. Cheap ofc. There is no reason to spend a lot of money on a trend you aren't so sure about. Both are from H&M. The silver one, with orange and gold studs are 69,95 dkk and the chunky gold one 79,95 dkk.

I've found a couple of other ones that I really like:

OOTD: If I were a Giant Kaleidoscope

This outfit is actually from yesterday. I just never got to posting it.

I am so much in love with the colors and the print on these items. It's actually a shirt and a skirt, but it looks like a dress put together. Is there anything better than versatile clothing?

I ended up having second thought about the necklace though, so ultimately I wore a silver one instead.

This is all from Monki except the black tights (would look better without, but it's freezing in Denmark)

Purple Perfection

These purple suede flatforms have been in the stores for ages! It's about time I got to buy them really cheap, lol :) Found them when visiting my parents for the weekend in a "Message" store.

I payed 100 dkk (down from 900 dkk). Perfect. Their seizes are odd which was lucky for me since my normal size was sold out.

Gold and purple - this says spring/summer to me.

They are from the brand Shoeshibar which I really like cause they make awesome shoes, but normally they are a little too pricey for me. I almost always buy really cheap shoes cause when I buy an expensive pair I always ends up scratching the leather the first day and really hating myself for it. That is why I often go for good quality shoes on sale.
