OOTD: Bluish Vintage

Been some time since I've posted an OOTD (been short on photographers. 

The dress and the belt are vintage, the blazer is very old from Monki. The shoes are the Margareth shoes from Monki which I've blogged about before.

Spring Flings

The new pieces are hitting the high street stores now. Making it hard to choose between buying a lot of stuff on sale or saving up for the new arrivals for spring. I've found some pieces that I might have to buy at some point in the near future (when money grow on trees or I win the lottery).

Fly Collar

I've been looking for some more cheap collar tip jewelry, but unfortunately not a lot of it has reached the stores in Denmark. Today  I found this lovely pair of wings though, which I just had to have.

Got it on Sale (Surprise it's a Super Price, Right?)

Asos, H&M, Monki and the rest of our lovely highstreet family is starting sale this week! I've already done some shopping online at Monki.com. I must say - I'm surprised how fast the delivery is and u get a free gift because of the holidays (free stuff - the way to any girls heart). This is what I bought:

And this cape which makes it possible for me to wear my new leather jacket even when it's cold.

Second-hand Hunter

I know I'm slacking a little atm but here's some pictures of the awesome vintage finds I mentioned in an earlier post. I got all this for about 200 dkr. 

Knit jacket (or very warm cardi). Love that it looks like a fur coat.

Flower pattern shirt. Very spring-ish. Would wear it with a blue knit or a high-waist denim skirt. I have a plan to put either studs or pearl on the collar. Second hand clothes are awesome for DYI. It's a lot cheaper to just buy a shirt and do whatever you like with the collar than to actually buy an embellished collar.

Lace shirt which is actually not vintage, but from the brand in wear which makes pretty timeless pieces. Lace is a trend which just repeats itself for every a/w season. 

Velvet animal print blouse with bat sleeves. I love this one - it's so comfy. And a again, this trend seems to repeat it self every a/w. 

Pink shirt with pretty collar and flower print. I mostly bought this for the collar - it will look awesome underneath a knit. The shirt is a statement piece really, so I would wear it with a very plain skirt or jeans. I will have to take out the shoulder pads too. 

Shirt with nice detail in front, old wallet and Christmacy pearl necklace. A little Christmas outfit. This shirt is very versatile - small details, but not too much.

OOTD: Purple and Layers

Oh, I haven't posted anything in ages :S I've been dealing with some school and Christmas stuff lately and I've also been sick during the weekend - it's all good. 

I quickly took this picture of my outfit today. 

I really love the necklace. After it went on sale I've bought it in both colors.

My very old Divided Black blazer I've mentioned in another post. The shoes are also from Divided - bought during midseason sale, they are still in stores and on sale online.

Okay, this one isn't really black, but it's the base color? I love, love, love this dress. I've seen it in the store IRL and it's a lot more classy and expensive looking then on the picture. From Saint Tropez - 399,00 dkr.

Early Christmas Present

This week from Monday to Wednesday the danish H&M stores had 50 % off all outerwear. I've been madly in love with this leather jacket before it was even in the stores (I've even saved this pic on my pc when it first showed up on the website). But I never had the money to buy it. Now it's finally mine - an early christmas present :D  

OOTD: Green Grandma

Just bought this greenish dress from H&M trend. I'm sort of loving this color for fall (/winter really). Being slightly feed up with bordeaux.

The necklace is vintage from a second hand store and so are the shoes.

DIY: Lime Green

A little DIY project in between exam papers. 

Would have made more sense if I'd taken a before pic, lol. But google is our friend, and I've stolen one from likegolddust.blogspot.com (hopefully that is okay).

The original orangy color which I bought on sale, but I've never really used it.

And this is the green edition. I took out all the stones and covered them with white nail polish at first. Then I used the green one when the white was dry (orange is hard to cover). I used a green from H&M called "I'm not a kiwi" (duh?). Replacing the stones turned out to be the tricky part :S 

Overall I'm pretty pleased with the result and I'll do a OOTD with it tomorrow when it is (hopefully) dry.

Sadly Not Happening

Givenchy have sadly unconfirmed the collaboration rumors today. Never mind the last post then ;) 

Givenchy for H&M?

There are some rumors going around the internet that the next collaboration partner for H&M will be Givenchy! One can only hope this is true. H&M have made some popular Givenchy inspirered designs from time to time, so it's not unthinkable that a collaboration with Givenchy will be a success!

This blazer from divided black was very inspired by Givenchy a couple of years ago. I happen to have this in my closet.
