DIY: Lime Green

A little DIY project in between exam papers.

Would have made more sense if I'd taken a before pic, lol. But google is our friend, and I've stolen one from likegolddust.blogspot.com (hopefully that is okay).

The original orangy color which I bought on sale, but I've never really used it.

And this is the green edition. I took out all the stones and covered them with white nail polish at first. Then I used the green one when the white was dry (orange is hard to cover). I used a green from H&M called "I'm not a kiwi" (duh?). Replacing the stones turned out to be the tricky part :S

Overall I'm pretty pleased with the result and I'll do a OOTD with it tomorrow when it is (hopefully) dry.

Sadly Not Happening

Givenchy have sadly unconfirmed the collaboration rumors today. Never mind the last post then ;)

Givenchy for H&M?

There are some rumors going around the internet that the next collaboration partner for H&M will be Givenchy! One can only hope this is true. H&M have made some popular Givenchy inspirered designs from time to time, so it's not unthinkable that a collaboration with Givenchy will be a success!

This blazer from divided black was very inspired by Givenchy a couple of years ago. I happen to have this in my closet.

Some inspiration pics from Givenchys website. Leather and drama - yes pls! I hope there will be lots and lots of accessories.

I will update once there is some kind of confirmation.

Why we Love Asos

Asos.com totally takes the crown when it comes to high street webshops. I love it! I could spend an infinite amount of money on asos stuff. Today they have 25 % off asos collection and as always free shipping worldwide!

Weekday - Fade to W

Weekday have announced a new "collaboration brand". With two design collaborations a year. So exiting. The first one is with Stine Goya who they've made a very successful collaboration with before. I'm looking forward to seeing this! I love some of Stine Goya's design, especially the shoes.
Stine Goya Miracle 1600,00 dkr.

I hope there will be lots of shoes. So far they've only released these pics (where it's hard to see the shoes):

I woulndn't mind the lace pants and the lace shirt, but I think there is more to come that will be more my style.

Pictures from weekday

BTW, I have two exams getting a little too close, so if I don't post anything for a while this would be why.

OOTD: New Necklace

Love the color of this vintage shirt with the new white necklace from last post.

Silvery Saturday Nights

With the holidays coming up all the Christmas parties have begun and new years eve is approaching way too fast. Here are some rather cheap ideas for a silvery party look.

A little less noisy than silver dresses. Jeans from boohoo.com - 232,37 dkr

Very wearable. Never really goes out of style. From object - 499,95 dkr.

I would love this. Being a blazer kindda girl I could see a lot of uses for this. River Island - 371,79 dkr.

This knit isen't really new and inventive cause it was used a lot last year too, but I really do like it. This can be used for an everyday outfit too. monki.com - 450 dkr.

Sequins en masse! Judith dress from Monki.com - 400 dkr

Not that cheap really and not wearable for most people. But I love the print. Maison Martin Margiela with H&M - 699,00 dkr

Want this! Cute with a pretty top but also with a knit or an oversize tee. River Island - 232,37 dkr.

Last Saturday I went for a silver look with an old conscious collection top from H&M divided.

This silver/white necklace finally made it all the way to Denmark. From H&M 99,00 dkr.

Margiela Day

Last night I went to VIP event with the danish fashion magazine Costume at H&M. It awesome with great cake, bubbles and ofc nice clothes. I wasn't really loving the collection from the lookbook, but I have to admit a lot of the pieces looks beautiful irl. Unfortunately they are also rather pricy.

I ended up buying this sweatshirt, which is actually from the mens line. I love the print, it's creative and out of the box but at the same time it's very wearable. I've styled it with a denim shirt underneath, red nails and simple jewelry.

Spiked Statements

Some spiky accessories that I wouldn't mind adding to my collection.

OOTD: Trying out Bolo Ties

A while back H&M launched a western campaign with strong influence from Isabel Marant. I wasen't really sure about it, cause tbh I'm more European than American when it comes to style. I somehow fell for this bolo tie though - love it with a collar!  It's somewhere between a masculine tie and a feminine necklace - love that it's androgynous like that.

H&M Divided 69,95 dkr.

Try #bolotie on instagram - ppl have some amazing ideas for them!

H&M are also keeping the trend alive by presenting it in their spring trend collection. Wouldn't be surprised if I end up buying this.

DIY: Collar Tip Jewelry the Lazy Way

I think a lot of the collar tip jewelry you can buy is expensive considering the amounts of materials used for it. So I came up with an idea to make some very easily.

Step 1: Buy a pair of earrings with stick. They shouldn't be to heavy and dangle too much but other than that the sky is the limit. I bought a package with 4 pairs for 10 dkr on sale.

Step 2: Get a pair of cutting nippers. In Denmark you can buy them for 20 dkr in Tiger.

Step 3: Cut off the stick. Cut them so close to the lock as possible.

Step 4: There you go.

Step 5: Pin them onto whatever you feel like. Almost so simple it's not even worth posting about but now I did it anyways :)
